World Breastfeeding Week

The Close Baby Carrier was developed by continuum concept (aka attachment parenting) advocate and mother, Claire Scott. Discovering a niche in the market for a carrier that was more than just a rucksack to get baby from A to B, Claire developed a user-friendly, soft, organic and supremely comfortable baby carrier that could be used literally all day, if that is the user's desire.

The Close Baby Carrier can be used from birth to approximately 15 kgs and is excellent for facilitating breastfeeding in the first days and weeks when feeding can be complicated, difficult and slow.

Having your baby wrapped snuggly in the Close Baby Carrier, feeding as you move about your day, is one of the best ways to return to 'normal' after the birth of a baby and has proven to assist longevity of breastfeeding, as it ceases to be seen as a tedious and boring procedure, but rather a special and routine activity that you and baby can enjoy together - either as you get on with other aspects of life, or sitting relaxed on the couch.

The Close Baby Carrier gives mothers that CHOICE.

It has also been suggested that carrying your baby in a sling helps to develop steady milk supply for new mothers.
